Looking for a Halloween-season activity that is a little more creative than another trip through the candy aisle? Ladera Ranch's Create & Connect series is bringing residents together for an Enchanted Moss Witch Hat Workshop on Tuesday, October 13, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The workshop will be held at the Oak Knoll Village Clubhouse. Participants will use preserved moss, dried flowers and other natural materials to turn a decorative witch hat into a one-of-a-kind seasonal centerpiece.

It is the kind of local event that works equally well as a night out with friends or a chance to meet neighbors while trying something new. You do not need to be an experienced crafter to participate—the focus is on making something personal and enjoying the process.

Because this is a resident event, registration requires a LaderaLife account. Space may be limited, so anyone interested should check availability and register early.

Before heading over, review the official listing for the current price, materials information and any last-minute instructions. Event details can change, and the resident calendar will have the most current information.

With Ladera's Halloween decorations beginning to appear around the community, the workshop is a fun way to bring some of that seasonal creativity indoors—and leave with something you can display at home.
